Reality TV star Alex Asogwa aka Alex Unusual has urged Nigerian women to embrace their natural skin tones.
Journalist reports that Alex unusual, who is the new celebrity ambassador for skincare brand L’Avyanna skin, made this call on Sunday at her unveiling in Lagos.
Writing on her Instagram page @alex_unusual, she said “This endorsement means so much to me because it promotes self love and celebrates our natural skin colour.
“I a colour chocolate, a beautiful and strong woman;I feel so honoured and thankful,” Alex said.
She said women should love themselves no matter the shades of colour tone and `flow happily in it.’’
L’Avyanna is a natural and organic skin care line focused on addressing the different skin care needs of both men and women with different skin types.
Newsmen reports that as part of her ambassadorial duties, she entertained fans at the L’Avyanna Skin Lagos store opening ceremony.
Following her stint on the BBNaija show, Alex was signed by Naomad agency run by Naomi Adenuga who described her as full of depth and authenticity.
The 22 year old, who just hit a record one million followers on Instagram, has a retinue of brand endorsements that addresses youth and women issues.
Alex has a partnership with Eyedoctors NG to provide free eye treatments to less privileged children.
She is also leading a health campaign on safe sex practices for young people as part of her ambassadorial duties for ‘My Paddi’.
Newsmen also reports that Alex is building a niche as an event host, with several high profile events to her credit including the recently held “Merry Men Movie’’ premiere and popular Buckwyld and Breathless show.
